Detonate Foundations returns to The Brickworks on 27th February.
DJ Hype
In the early ‘90s, Hype became one of the key figures in the emergence of jungle music, blending breakbeats, reggae, dancehall, and hardcore influences. He later formed True Playaz alongside Zinc & Pascal. A label which he's recently bought back. Hype remains at the forefront the music, and is one of the original foundations
— we're excited to have him back for an extended set at The Brickworks Nottingham.
DJ Die
As one of the early V Recordings and Full Cycle artists, DJ Die has been responsible for so many classic D&B records. As well as being member of Reprazent. In recent years his focus has been Watch the Ride with Randall (RIP) and Dismantle, and putting out solo releases all with that classic DJ Die sound.
We’re buzzing to have him to the line up.
Kenny Ken
A true pioneer of jungle and drum & bass, Kenny Ken has been at the heart of the culture since day one. From early rave and pirate radio through to countless iconic releases and legendary sets, his influence runs deep across generations of D&B.
Still delivering pure energy behind the decks, Kenny Ken remains a vital force on the circuit. We’re gassed to welcome a legend to the line up.
